Job Title: Experienced Journeyman/woman Automotive Technician

Required Skills:

  • Journeyperson automotive technician, 1+ years experience
  • Transmission experience an asset, but not required
  • Must have own tools
  • Talented, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent diagnostic abilities
  • High work ethic with a strong desire to produce quality work
  • Positive attitude
  • Works well both independently and in a team

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose the cause of automotive issues and provide recommendations to resolve the issues
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks, testing the vehicle to verify the repair before returning it to the customer
  • Follow shop policies regarding work flow, vehicle inspections, paperwork, parts, repairs and cleanup
  • Help the other technicians or employees as needed and be friendly with customers and fellow employees
  • Keep up to date with current industry best practices
  • Keep your tools and work area clean and safe
