Required Skills:
- 1st through 4th year automotive apprentice
- Must have at least a partial tool set
- Talented, detail-oriented self-starter
- High work ethic with a strong desire to learn and produce quality work
- Positive attitude
- Works well both independently and in a team
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of an automotive technician to diagnose the cause of automotive issues and provide recommendations to resolve the issues
- Learn repair techniques under the supervision of an automotive technician
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks under the supervision of an automotive technician, testing the vehicle to verify the repair before returning it to the customer
- Follow shop policies regarding work flow, vehicle inspections, paperwork, parts, repairs and cleanup
- Help the other technicians or employees as needed and be friendly with customers and fellow employees
- Keep up to date with current industry best practices
- Keep your tools and work area clean and safe
